LEGO Ministry of Magic, Doomsday Sets, and Shrek Minifigs Top Fan Reads

LEGO news is always a hot topic, but some announcements clearly hit harder than others. Brickset’s latest roundup shows exactly what’s got the community buzzing this week, and spoiler alert: your wallet might be feeling it.

The big news driving traffic seems to be the LEGO Harry Potter 76476 The Ministry of Magic, announced just days ago. It’s a massive set, and you know what that means – a price tag to match. We don't have Indian pricing yet, but expect this one to be a significant investment. This comes alongside the LEGO Marvel Avengers: Doomsday sets, which also garnered significant attention. Marvel fans are clearly eager for new additions, though details on these are still scarce.

Adding to the excitement is the reveal of the LEGO Collectible Minifigures 71053 Shrek series. A full series based on the beloved animated franchise is a huge draw, and the early buzz is palpable. These minifigure series can sometimes be a gamble in terms of availability and price on the secondary market, so fans are likely trying to get ahead of the curve.

Other notable articles include a LEGO DREAMZzz crossover, hinting at more universe-building for the new theme, and the LEGO Harry Potter 40975 Mini Hogwarts Castle, which offers a more budget-friendly entry point into the wizarding world. Reviews for the 76350 Spider-Man vs. Hulk Epic Clash, 60506 Classic Beach Tram, and 11370 Stranger Things: The Creel House also featured prominently, indicating strong interest in these product lines.

The sheer volume of views on these articles – over 141,000 this week alone – shows just how engaged the LEGO community is. Whether it’s a massive display piece like the Ministry of Magic or a fun collection of minifigures like Shrek, LEGO knows how to capture attention.

No specific set numbers have been confirmed for India yet, meaning pricing and availability are uncertain. However, based on the global interest and typical import costs, expect these sets to be pricey. This could easily be the equivalent of 10 months of your favourite streaming service. Keep an eye on Toycra and MyBrickHouse for updates, likely with a 4–6 week lag from global release. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500. On that bombshell, it's time to say goodbye. I'll see you on the next one. Bubyee.
