LEGO Architecture Sagrada Família (21065): A Masterpiece Arrives in India

The LEGO Architecture team has unveiled the Sagrada Família (21065), and if you’re a fan of intricate builds and iconic landmarks, your wallet is already bracing itself. This isn't just another building set; it's a meticulously crafted representation of Antoni Gaudí's unfinished masterpiece in Barcelona. The source material itself is a UNESCO World Heritage site, known for its complex facades and soaring spires, and LEGO has clearly aimed to capture that architectural ambition in brick form.

This set promises a deep dive into architectural techniques, mirroring the basilica's own lengthy construction process. Expect a build that challenges and rewards, with plenty of smaller, detailed elements that come together to form the recognizable shapes of the Sagrada Família. Reviews are already hailing it as a "work of art" and a "masterpiece," which is high praise, especially for an Architecture series set. It’s designed for display, a statement piece that speaks to an appreciation for design and history.

The sheer scale and detail involved suggest a significant piece count and a substantial build time. This isn't a weekend build you'll rush through; it's an experience. The Architecture line often appeals to a more mature builder, someone who appreciates the historical context and the design challenges. The Sagrada Família, with its unique style, is a perfect fit for this series. It’s a chance to own a piece of architectural history, rendered in LEGO.

In India, the LEGO Architecture Sagrada Família (21065) has an official MRP of ₹76,400. Toycra and MyBrickHouse will likely list it for sale within 4–6 weeks of the global launch. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500. That's roughly 13 months of Spotify Premium Family Plan.

While the build experience and final model are reportedly exceptional, the price point for the Sagrada Família is undeniably steep. It places this set firmly in the "considerable investment" category. For many, the cost alone will be a barrier. However, for those who value architectural accuracy and iconic landmarks, and have the budget, this set is a compelling addition to the LEGO Architecture collection. The details and the sheer presence of the completed model are said to be breathtaking.

On that bombshell, it's time to say goodbye. I'll see you on the next one. Bubyee.

Verdict: WAIT. Good set, but the price will drop.
