LEGO 75645 Battle at Drum Castle: A Sticker Nightmare?

The wallet winced. ₹10,999 for 1034 pieces. That's a lot of rupees for a set that sounds like it might mostly be walls.

LEGO has revealed the 75645 Battle at Drum Castle, a new set shipping in 2026. It packs 1034 pieces and includes six minifigures, but the real talking point isn't the build itself. It's the stickers. Specifically, the stickers you have to apply to the inside of wall panels.

Apparently, this is a major fear for some builders. The idea is that these internal stickers are hard to apply perfectly, often trapping dust or air bubbles. You only get one shot, and you can't easily fix mistakes because your fingers can't reach the tight corners once the panel is mostly assembled. Imagine the sheer panic of trying to perfectly align a tiny sticker inside a curved wall piece. The source mentions 76387 Hogwarts Fluffy Encounter as a past offender, with stickers on the inside of a half-cone element.

While the idea of a "Drum Castle" might conjure images of epic battles, the primary conflict here seems to be between the builder and the sticker sheet. Some commenters suggest alternative solutions like the Windex trick for smoother application, or simply avoiding sets with too many stickers altogether. Others fear running out of shelf space or their spouse discovering the true cost of their plastic brick obsession.

For us, the main question is whether the brick-built alternative for these interior shelves would have been so difficult. Many builders believe that most internal details can be recreated with bricks, making stickers unnecessary. The quality of stickers themselves is also a concern, with reports of off-center cuts ruining the aesthetic.

At ₹10,999, that's enough for 18 months of Spotify Premium or a decent mid-range smartphone. LEGO.in and Toycra both have it listed at ₹10,999. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500. Expect a 4–6 week lag from global launch.

This set is certainly generating discussion, but the focus is less on the playability or display value and more on the application of tiny adhesive paper. Whether this castle is worth the sticker shock remains to be seen.

Keep building, keep dreaming... and don't let your wallet see your LEGO wishlist.

Verdict: WAIT. Good set, but the price will drop.

On that bombshell, bubyee.
