Exclusive Retro Video Game Batman Minifigure Surfaces Ahead of LEGO Game Launch

LEGO is pushing hard for the new LEGO Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight Mayhem Collection DLC, and Gamescom 2026 is the stage. At the dedicated booth, they’re handing out polybags with a special minifigure: 30762 Retro Video Game Batman. This is not just a random giveaway. This minifigure is meant to be an exclusive bonus for the LEGO Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight Switch 2 Deluxe Edition, launching September 18, 2026.

Getting your hands on this promo means playing the Mayhem Mode demo at the Gamescom booth. It’s a nod to the classic Batman: The Video Game on the NES, itself a tie-in to Tim Burton’s 1989 film. In that game, Batman sported a rather distinctive purple suit. This new minifigure channels that retro aesthetic.

The Retro Video Game Batman features a purple cowl and cape, both made of plastic. The cowl is dual-moulded, a nice touch. Across the body, you’ll find pixelated details, including a rather crude pixelated Batsymbol on the chest. There’s even back printing with pixelated muscle definition. Underneath the cowl, Batman’s head is medium blue, adding another layer to this unique design.

This minifigure is shaping up to be a highly sought-after variant for 2026, especially for fans of classic Batman media and LEGO collectors. If you’re planning to pick up the physical Deluxe Edition of LEGO Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight on Switch 2, this minifigure will be your reward. The game itself releases globally on September 18, 2026.

For Indian fans eyeing this exclusive, the situation is less clear. No specific set number has been confirmed for official Indian release, and the minifigure is tied to a game edition, not a standalone LEGO set. This means availability in India will likely depend on how the game's Deluxe Edition is distributed here. Pricing is also uncertain, but expect it to be a premium compared to the standard game edition if it becomes available through official channels.

If this exclusive were officially sold in India, it would likely cost the equivalent of 8 months of Spotify Premium. Keep an eye on Toycra and MyBrickHouse for the LEGO Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight Switch 2 Deluxe Edition, though availability of the bonus minifigure is not guaranteed. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500.

Until official LEGO set numbers and Indian pricing are confirmed, this remains a highly desirable but uncertain collectible for the Indian market. It’s a cool piece of LEGO history, referencing a specific gaming era.

On that bombshell, it's time to say goodbye. I'll see you on the next one. Bubyee.
